Whale Shark Dives!

Hi it’s Miho here.

Today, I dove with two girls from Hong Kong at the Whale Shark Dive Spot.
We did one dive in the morning to get used being in the water, and then did a couple of Whale Shark Dives.

Unfortunately, I left my camera home today…
But they should have got some good pictures.

Here are fantastic pictures by Mike Jimenez, of some rare kinds of nudibranchs we found today.

Other than nudibranchs, we found Oranghtan Crabs, Bubble Coral Shrimps, Flounder, and Sea Snakes.
In the afternoon, me and Mike had a long dive at the Fish House, where we spotted some very rare nudibranchs we had never seen before!

Thank you very much Mike, for beautiful pictures!
We enjoyed diving with you a lot!

Macro Photo Dives at Inanbishi – Okinawa Diving

Hi it’s Miho here.

The wind shifted – but we have a great Macro Paradice where we can find all kinds of Nudibranchs, shrimps, and crabs.
I had one- on – one Macro shooting dives with Mike again. Enjoyed it so much!

First dive, we shoot off to the deep end of the dive site, the banded pipe fish couple was always there, around the same rock as far as I know for a last 1 month.
There were still many nudibranchs!
The picture on the right hand above is a shrimp that lives on a sea cucumber. It is a huge one, hanging out there this whole winter.

I can never get tired of diving Inanbishi. So many creatures over there.
If you are into macro stuff, ask us about diving there!

Overhead Rock, Manza Dream Hole … Okinawa Diving

Hi there, it’s Miho

I had goood dives with Mike today again.
We took a boat from Seragaki and dove the fantastic dive sites around Manza.

The picture below is from Manza Dream Hole… my favorite dive site!

The entrance of the hole is at 5m deep, and the hole goes out to the drop off at 26m.
The picture is the exit of the hole… covered with countless sweepers.
In the hole there were two flame fire shells, lobsters…

Hi there,

We had good dives again in the Keramas – with the south wind, it felt like summer!
Went through the blue cave, found some turtles, and enjoyed the beautiful coral reef.
The above picture is me, trying to turn the turtles face to the photographers- by feeding the turtle some coral chips. (photo by Mike Jimenez).
